Job Description
We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic guest focused Food & Beverage professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.
As a Driver you are responsible for all standards and procedures connected with the hotels Food & Beverage vehicles.
To project an image of professionalism, whilst following strict rules & regulations while driving / handling the hotel vehicles. In addition, to perform all such duties and to carry out all such responsibilities as may be assigned to ensure highest level of personalized attention and standards of service. To assist the Banquets Operations as and when required:
•Handles the vehicles with the utmost care following established traffic rules & regulations, which are not limited to the speed limits
•Ensures that the vehicle cleanliness and condition is continually maintained
•Ensures effective handover is done, and all necessary information from Conference and Banquets Operations Manager is obtained
•Controls and assures security of all vehicle keys and the orderly storage as per set standard
•Establishes, promotes and maintains good public relations and enhances sales for the hotel at every opportunity
•Supports banquet operation on day to day events including inhouse meetings, lunch, dinner as well outside catering
•Supports in setting up the meeting rooms
•Supports in preparing the mis en place for the operation
•Adheres to all company and hotel rules & regulations at all times
•Maintains an up to date knowledge of all Banquets equipment and how to use them
•Reports daily activities in communication logbook and attends daily operations briefings
•Establishes, promotes and maintains good public relations while meeting or exceeding guest expectations
•Cooperates in the performance of any reasonable task requested by company manager, executive and guests
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should ideally have a vocational training in the hospitality field with previous experiences in the Front Office / Transportation field. You must also have fluency in both written and spoken English and need to be a holder of a valid local Driving License and be well versed with the country traffic laws.
Knowledge & Competencies
The ideal candidate will be a well presented, young minded individual with an outgoing and friendly attitude. You are an extremely proactive and ‘switched on’ person with a hands-on and flexible approach and be able to adapt to unpredictable events. You are reliable and will thrive working in a busy environment & stay calm under pressure, and should possess following competencies:
