We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Sales & Revenue professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.
As an Director of Sales Kuwait & Qatar, you are responsible for directing the strategy of developing business in Kuwait & Qatar, the day-to-day sales activities of the team, training and developing the team members as well as implementing action plans as set forth by Corporate Office, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:
Handle the top producing regional accounts through various sales activities and occasionally joins the sales team when visiting their top accounts
Monitor sales production, run monthly analysis meeting with the team, and adjust their activities to maximize their efforts in order to complete account coverage, achieve if not exceed their targets and to ensure brand awareness
Review the month end Sales report to make sure the department’s activities and room-nights/revenue production are correctly documented as per corporate standards and introduces effective measurements to the process and outcome of the regional sales plans.
Run weekly meetings to proactively discuss potential accounts and new leads towards the hotels represented and to follow up on the sales process to convert into ‘producing’ accounts
Ensure up to date, thorough and accurate filing system is in place for complete backup
Develop active communication and close rapport with the National Sales Offices of Rotana Hotels in the UAE to ensure leads are forwarded, information is exchanged and certain accounts are followed up on
Ensure all hotel properties’ regular updates and information are communicated to all GSO team and make sure the team is adhering to them for an effective selling
Plan joint sales trips between GSO team and the DOSM’s of the sister hotels in the region in order to strengthen the relationship between the hotels and the clients
Prepare the department’s revenue targets and/or expense budget or assist corporate office when preparing in order to asses, control and manage the departmental performance
Assist the sales team in preparing their KPO’s, mid-year reviews and APR’s as per corporate standards
Recruit, train and motivate the sales team to realize their potential and to develop them for advancement within Rotana Hotels
Hold Monthly strategy meetings to discuss action planning and focused co-ordination of a consolidated potential analysis.
Establishes and maintains an active role within industry organisations across all segments.
Consolidated all marketing activities within the region in coordination with the National Sales Offices, hotel properties, central & hotel based marketing functions.
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
Your status should allow you to legally work in the United Kingdom. You should be holding a bachelor degree in sales and minimum three years work experiences whereby revenue management knowledge and new business acquisition experiences are an advantage. You should be having good knowledge of the UK travel industry and willing to travel to drive the business. Excellent presentation skills and good computer knowledge are essentials.
