Colleague Accommodation Attendant

To ensure Colleagues' Accommodation facility is well maintained as per standards.

 General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean accommodation public areas regularly to maintain the areas in a clean and hygienic condition
• Prepare rooms and welcome amenities for new joiners to provide a welcoming and professional first impression
• Report maintenance issues to superiors to ensure all faulty equipment and items are fixed promptly
• Count the store items on a monthly basis to maintain appropriate accommodation item stock
• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
• Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures

As an Employee Accommodation Attendant you are responsible to ensure and maintain a hygienic accommodation for all associates and will include key responsibilities such as:

• Clean all common areas of the accommodation
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene is maintained at all times, especially in the bathrooms
• Clean all public areas in and around the accommodation
• Ensure that maintenance requests with regard to any repair and maintenance requirements in the accommodation are immediately made and follow-up on pending maintenance requests
• Prepare room for new associate arriving as per the SOP’s
• Ensure accommodation of the new associate is in hygienic and good condition
• Maintain an inventory of all new linen purchased for the staff
• Maintain the furniture store of the accommodation
• Clear all garbage on daily basis
• Report any complaint from the associates regarding the accommodation to the Director of Human Resources / Human Resources Manager
• Ensure that no misuse of equipment or FF&E in the accommodation is taking place

You should have a minimum high school qualification with previous experience in a related discipline. You must have a good command of English and Computer skills are of an advantage.

The ideal candidate will be helpful, courteous and with a positive attitude. You have the ability to perform with high standard of social skills enabling you to interact and deal with other employees effectively.
