We are currently looking for a passionate and dynamic Learning & Development professional who has the ability to provide technical support and creative solutions to our Learning & Development function at the company’s Corporate Office.
As Learning & Development Officer, you will be assisting the Associate Vice President of Learning & Development in coordinating the activities at the Corporate Office as well as in all Rotana properties. The role will include key job responsibilities such as:
• Coordinate the Onboarding activities for new colleagues at Corporate Office
• Compile the monthly Learning & Development report and Corporate Office reports
• Compile the quarterly Guest Service Champion nominations
• Coordinate the Corporate Office / NSO / GSO colleagues' training (scheduling, database, etc.)
• Manage the internship activities (online posting, database, monitoring of properties, etc.)
• Maintain and update various databases (L&D Team, GMs/EAMs Training, TAROT, Accreditation, Training Providers, etc.)
• Maintain and update the Corporate Office inventory (posters, handbooks, DNA cards, etc.)
• Create engaging content for Insight Rotana
• Update MyRotana (Intranet) on regular basis
• Assist the Associate Vice President of Learning & Development in new projects and initiatives as required
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
Ideally, the candidate should have a degree in hospitality management, with minor experience in a professional training environment and some knowledge in instructional design and training techniques. The candidate should have a good command of MS Office, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Scala Design and any video making / editing software.
