Job Description

We are currently seeking for dynamic, ambitious and self motivated Food & Beverage professionals to join our Corporate Office team who will assist the CVP - F&B Operations to organize and direct a team that develops top quality Food & Beverage products.

As a Food & Beverage Manager - Openings & Projects you are responsible for hotel openings and assigned projects. Acquiring and applying an adequate level of managerial skills into the Food & Beverage Operations. You are expected to have an in depth knowledge of all food and beverage product, service techniques and knowledge of local customs. This is required in order to help manage the Food & Beverage team and to instill required standards as per the hotels policies and procedures. Effectively sharing and communicating new implementations and best practices. The will include key responsibilities such as:

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties / vendors for the flawless execution of projects

• Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant parties

• Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques Report and escalate to management as needed

• Perform risk management to minimize project risks

• Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors

• Work with the Corporate Director of F&B & Culinary to ensure that proper foundation is built for the opening of each hotel opening scheduled. SOP / SOS / USP are shared and explained in detail before every opening either on site or remotely. Coordination of task force to leverage all the talent available in the company at the same time spotting new talent.

• Analyze the displays, set-ups and / or the way that the product is offered to ensure that we are providing a right delivery of the product to the customer

• Ensure that the FOH is maintaining consistency with our displays, décor and delivery styles of the product lines we offer

• Review current product offering and propose any changes or new product lines to be offered, this will be done by supporting the proposed new changes with data from the current market trend, competitive set or offerings within our sister hotels

• Play a lead role in reviewing and ensuring that packaging and serving vessels fit the product offering while supporting the image of our brand

• Identify areas of improvement in the way that our current or new product will be displayed, packaged, and/or marketed.

• Liaise with marketing to surface up creative angles on how to position and launch various initiatives that come out of our Food & Beverage operations

• Review, analyze and share all menu graphics, signage, and point of sales to ensure that our products are clearly understood and presented in a proper way that drive sales. This will be done while ensuring that we are staying abreast of current market trends.

• Ensure that all new changes that are being placed “in-print” or re-printed are reviewed for accuracy in text, grammar, selling price and that they follow market trends

• Play a lead role in the selection, trainings and monitoring of our various beverage programs

• Follow up and liaise with the vendors to ensure that all new equipment specs and/or operating equipment arrive on time and are supported with the necessary procurement steps

• Play a lead role in developing the FOH training manuals

• Provide a hands-on approach to the trainings in regards to service, Food & Beverage product knowledge and launch of any new product lines, working side by side with the FOH colleague in the field to ensure that we address not only the product but the service of the product

• Ensure that any new equipment specs that are placed in the FOH are communicated and supported by engineering and technical support

• Follow up and spot check regularly and initiate training consistently

Skills

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should be a college / university degree graduate with a minimum of two years experiences in a similar role with preferable previous experiences in the Middle East. You must be a computer literate with effective communication and presentation skills along with an excellent command of written and spoken English. Ability to read, understand and analyze financial data is a must.

Knowledge & Competencies
