Engineering - Gardener Supervisor

We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Maintenance professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.

As a Gardener Supervisor you are responsible to supervise and participate in the maintenance process and performance of the Gardeners and assist in the process of mowing, trimming, weeding, planting, cultivating, fertilizing, watering and pruning operations of flowers, plants and trees in the hotel premises, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:

•Supervise duties and task assigned for Gardeners

•Evaluate employee performance levels and assist in training new hires

•Set and monitor completion of periodic maintenance schedules

•Purchase necessary supplies and equipment

•Schedule and supervise pesticide, herbicide, fertilizer and other related chemical applications

•Perform general landscape and cleanup duties, including trash and debris removal, graffiti removal and litter pickup

•Operate, maintain and install sprinkler irrigation systems

•Work in a safe manner and report unsafe activity and conditions to Agriculture Engineer

•Follow hotel safety policy and practices and adhere to responsibilities.

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should ideally be having a high school diploma or any higher qualification with previous work experiences in the same field, preferable with minor supervisory duties. You should have good English communication skills and the proven knowledge in the use of pesticides, fertilizers and other related chemicals, as well as the ability to operate power equipments like trimmers, chainsaws, weed cutters, blowers and other hand tools required for gardening.
