We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic guest focused Human Resources professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of service.
As Director of Talent Management you are responsible to provide creative marketing solutions for recruitment strategies, whilst promoting Rotana as an employer of choice and offer Human Resources support to the Area Directors of Human Resources for all existing properties and in particular for pre-opening properties. The role includes key responsibilities such as:
• Undertake recruitment activities at all levels, but in particular for General Managers / Corporate Office Senior Executives, including advertising, interviewing and assessments, using a variety of tools and techniques, including job boards, recruitment trips, staffing partners and recruitment assessment centres
• Manage all facets of the Rotana Careers Website, inclusive, but not limited to referring any incoming job applications to the same, compiling monthly productivity reports, communicating constantly with the website developers to ensure smooth operation and constant upgrades and by providing training and support to all users and sub users on the functionalities
• Be responsible and the main contact for the TAROT Programme (Rotana’s fast track development program) along with the Associate Vice President - Learning & Development
• Maintain professional and effective relationships with external advertising and recruitment agencies and strengthen existing relationships with universities, colleges and hotel schools
• Attend international and local career fairs as required
• Contribute to, update and maintain the succession plan, whilst driving a pipeline of talent throughout the business and follow-up on the transfer and promotion of employees by liaising with Area Directors of Human Resources and the use of both succession plan and manning guide
• Support Rotana’s Duroob Programme and liaise with hotels’ representatives to ensure existing localisation programs meet it set targets
• Co-ordinate and conduct the Human Resources trainings and orientations for the openings of new properties and offer human resources pre-opening support to ensure that Hiring Updates and Critical Paths are prepared, enhanced and adhered to
• Maintain Rotana Human Resources Accounts in Social Media
• Assist the Corporate Vice President - Human Resources in developing and managing Human Resources guidelines and functions and re-assess, review and upgrade schemes and policies to enable the company to stay competitive
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should have a university degree in a related discipline / or professional HR designation with a minimum of 5 years experiences in a similar role. You must be computer literate (advanced user), ideally with proficiency in Microsoft Office and creative software (computer graphic and video design) and fluent in English. Previous gulf experiences are preferred and a track record of career progress and stability is an essential.
