We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Sales professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.
As Area Director of Sales – International, you are responsible for setting direction and strategy in areas of overall account management, business generation, prospecting for the hotel sales teams in the market. Integrate property strategy with market strategy, lead teams to achieve assigned revenue goals, develop and manage all stakeholder relationships, both internal and external, for assigned hotel sales. You manage and proactively develop the sales teams, manage sales associates who may be in multiple and / or remote work locations and assist property sales leaders by providing overall market strategy and day-to-day sales leadership. The position's key responsibilities include:
•Focus on building each unit’s top line revenue by setting direction and strategy in areas of overall account management and business generation for each hotel sales within the market
•Proactively position and market each property, manage the sales budgets to enable development of market specific campaigns, promotions, etc. to drive revenue and meet market objectives
•Work with the Corporate Director of Revenue and Properties’ Revenue Management to ensure proper pricing, appropriate transient and group mix and implementation of sales strategy
•Address market fluctuations and economic conditions by partnering with Revenue Management to change sales strategy as appropriate for each hotel
•Ensure market sales process meets or exceeds guest needs, identify and address guest satisfaction issues to improve results, create customer loyalty and increase market share
•Develop and retain a diverse hourly and management workforce to generate revenue and provide sales expertise to the properties
•Create and sustain a work environment that focuses on fair and equitable treatment and colleague satisfaction to enable business success
•Develop and manage each hotel’s sales annual operating budget to achieve or exceed budgeted revenue expectations
•Develop a trusting and respectful business partnership with each property’s ownership by meeting or exceeding expectations in sales revenue
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should be holding a bachelor degree in sales with minimum three years post graduate work experiences whereby revenue management knowledge and new business acquisition experiences are an advantage. You must be a computer literate with excellent presentation skills and effective and outstanding communication skills, written and oral with proficiency in English and preferable Arabic.
