We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic guest focused Front Office professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.
As a Director of Rooms / Rooms Division Manager you are responsible to plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate the operation, policies and procedures for the operation by participating in the development of pricing and promotional strategies whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:
• Short and long term planning and day-to-day operations of the rooms and related areas
• Recommend budget and manage expenses within approved budget constraints
• Areas of responsibility / management include e.g.: Front Office, Guest Relations, Club Rotana, Business Center, Housekeeping, Security and Health Club
• Responsible for training and developing team members within the rooms division area
• Implement and manage the rooms division’s annual budget, business and marketing plan with the objective to meet or exceed management expectations
• Manage the operations of the division in a consistent manner to ensure a high level of quality and customer satisfaction
• Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You must be a college / university degree graduate with a minimum of two years experiences in a similar role. You should be a computer literate with working knowledge of hotel property management systems such as Opera, understand sales systems such as Micros and you have the ability to communicate English clearly, fluently and effectively in writing and reading.
