Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join our team as Director of Sales and Marketing at Onyx Arjaan by Rotana in Bahrain Bay, Manama, Bahrain.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and achieve the hotel's business goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales and marketing plan to achieve revenue targets and maximize occupancy.
- Lead and manage the sales and marketing team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, Saudi Arabian clients, travel agents, and key accounts to increase business opportunities.
- Conduct regular market analysis and competitor research to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in the hospitality industry.
- Collaborate with the revenue management team to establish competitive rates and promotions to enhance the hotel's market presence.
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, and advertising initiatives.
- Plan and coordinate sales activities, including participation in trade shows, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance and provide regular reports and recommendations to the executive team.
- Ensure effective communication with all hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Stay up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in sales and marketing strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
-Ven track record of success within the hospitality industry, preferably in a luxury hotel.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of sales and marketing principles and techniques.
- Ability to analyze market trends and competitor activities to develop effective strategies.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency in MS Office and hotel management software systems
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken. The Arabic language is a plus point.
