Food & Beverage - Waitress

Job Summary:
The Food & Beverage (F&B) Waitress is responsible for providing exceptional service to guests at the Onyx Arjaan and Residences by Rotana in Bahrain. They will be working in the F&B outlets, such as restaurants, cafes, and bars, ensuring that guests have a pleasant dining experience.

Job Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Present menus to guests and make suggestions based on their preferences.
- Take orders promptly and accurately, ensuring special dietary requirements and allergies are conveyed to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages to guests; ensure that each order is delivered accurately and timely.
- Check on guests periodically to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods.
- Handle and resolve guest complaints or special requests professionally and efficiently.
- Ensure that tables are set properly maintained throughout service.
- Clean and reset tables promptly after guest departure, ensuring a clean and tidy dining area.
- Assist in the setup and close-down of the F&B outlets.
- Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards at all times.
- Upsell additional food and beverage items to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.

Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Waitress or in a similar role in the F&B industry.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication to effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Strong customer service skills with a proactive attitude towards guest satisfaction.
- Ability to multitask and work pressure fast-paced.
Knowledge of food and beverage standards, menu items, and preparation methods.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
- Ability to work independently as a team with a positive flexible attitude.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
