Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated individual to join our Finance team as a General Cashier. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of financial transactions, processing cash payments and receipts, and providing excellent customer service to guests.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform daily cash count and reconcile the cash on hand with the system records.
- Process cash payments and issue receipts to customers in a timely and accurate manner.
- Handle all cash transactions with integrity and in accordance with company policies.
- Prepare daily cash reports and ensure accurate recording of financial data.
- Maintain petty cash fund and process reimbursement requests.
- Assist with billing and invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or discrepancies in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with other departments ensure smooth financial transactions and processes.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information at all times.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in financial regulations to ensure compliance.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Cashier or in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality industry.
- Strong numerical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in using cash handling and accounting software.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work under pressure meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
