Job Description
We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Sales professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.
As a Sales Manager - Corporate you are responsible to implement all sales activities and maximize business opportunities in your specific area of responsibility. The role involves implementing and executing all sales action plans in coordination with the Director of Sales and will include key responsibilities such as:
- Ensure complete coverage of defined accounts / areas in order to evaluate current and possible future potential business towards the Hotels in the region being sold
- Add to the existing database new accounts and increases, maintain room nights and revenue production through various sales activities in order to produce sales leads towards Rotana Hotels in the region and to contribute in achieving or exceeding set targets
- Develop a deep knowledge of all the Rotana Hotels in the region and their SWOT analysis versus their competitors for better product knowledge and effective sale
- Generate MICE leads and follow up regularly on the MICE offers, negotiating the requirements in coordination with respective MICE teams from our Hotels in the region in order to assist in turning the inquiry into a definite event
- Attend daily and weekly departmental and communication meetings and send all sales related reports on time, as required by ADOS / DOS as set by Corporate Office
- Attend exhibitions and major events in the city in order to check potential of participating companies and produce leads towards the sister Hotels in the region
- Conduct joint sales calls / blitz with colleagues from sister Hotels in the region (when visiting the OSO area), under the direct supervision of ADOS & DOS in order to generate new business leads and / to introduce & promote the Hotel(s)
- Closely monitor one’s accounts business production (room nights and revenue) to ensure continuous business is being driven towards Rotana Hotels in the region
- Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and employees’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
- Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should be holding a degree in sales & and minimum two years post graduate work experiences, ideally within the hotel industry. You must be a computer literate with excellent presentation skills and highly sophisticated communication skills, written and oral with proficiency in English is essential and any other language skills beside will be an asset.
