Job Description

Job Summary:
The Food & Beverage - Events Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of food and beverage service for events. They will manage the planning, organization, and execution of events, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and adherence to quality standards. The manager will also collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of services.

Job Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and coordinate all food and beverage requirements for events, including menu selections, set-up, and service arrangements.
- Work closely with clients to understand their event requirements and preferences and provide expert advice and guidance on food and beverage selections.
- Manage and train the events team to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as catering, banquet, and kitchen, to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of food and beverage services.
- Ensure that all health, safety, and hygiene standards are strictly adhered to during food and beverage service and manage any incidents or customer complaints effectively.
- Monitor and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective procurement and resource allocation.
- Keep up-to-date with latest industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into the events planning and execution process.

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or a related field.
- Proven experience in food and beverage management, particularly in events management.
- Excellent knowledge of food and beverage service standards, including menu planning, preparation, and presentation.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team of employees.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and suppliers.
