Job Description
We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic guest focused Front Office professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.
As a Transport Supervisor you are responsible for the maintenance and safety of all hotel vehicles, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:
•Ensure that seasonal adjustments are made to the schedule as appropriate
•Responsible for the administration of the transportation department ensuring that hotel policy and country laws are adhered to at all times
•Responsible for the timely e.g. registration and insurance of all hotel vehicles and ensuring that no vehicle is on the road without the necessary documentation therein
•Ensure that all hotel drivers are aware of any new traffic legislation
•Responsible for reporting any incidents / accidents / breakdowns immediately to the Front Office Manager / Human Resources Manager or in their absence, the General Manager
•Responsible for processing any relevant administration with outside parties in the event of an accident
•Coordinate with the garages for all preventive and routine maintenance of all hotel vehicles, ensuring that this is completed on a timely and effective basis
•Ensure that the hotel’s health, safety and hygiene policy is followed
•Ensure administration is maintained for fuel coupons at all times.
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should ideally have a degree in the hospitality field with previous experiences in the Front Office / Transportation field. You must also have fluency in both written and spoken English and need to be a holder of a valid country Driving License.
Knowledge & Competencies
The ideal candidate will be a well presented, young minded and good organized superior with an outgoing and friendly attitude. You are an extremely proactive and ‘switched on’ person with a hands-on and flexible approach and be able to adapt to unpredictable events. You are reliable and will thrive through working in a busy environment and stay calm under pressure, have attention to details and should possess following competencies:
