We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Kitchen professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.
As a Food & Beverage Artist you are responsible to take care of the daily food decoration and duties assigned to meet the set standard and qualities, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:
• Constantly check the quality of materials used for decoration
• Insist on a uniform visual appearance of all decoration prepared and presentation must be prepared according to the standards
• Check all food related set-up for restaurant and banquet functions and decoration must be done as per given theme and required standards
• Responsible for the correct timing of service and to ensure that ice carving or any other decorations are always of the highest standards and on time
• Work closely with the pastry chef in regards to the cake decorations as per required standards
• Ensure the highest standards and consistent quality in the daily preparation and keep up to date with the new decorative designs and preparation techniques
• Coordinate and participate with other sections of requirements, cleanliness, wastage and cost control
• Prepare all kinds of decorative work and show pieces for banquet buffets and restaurants, including ice carving, styrofoam, chocolates or any other type as per business demand
• Attend daily chefs and banquets operational meetings
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should have a professional kitchen apprenticeship or artistic training course and previous experiences in quality establishments in a similar role. The ability to communicate well in English and a proven track of your creative talent and great spirit is an essential.
