Job Description

We are currently seeking for ambitious, dynamic, self motivated Food & Beverage professionals who assist to organize and direct a team that develops top quality of food & beverage products with prompt, accurate and personalized service.

As a Specialty Outlet Manager you are responsible for the short and long term planning and the management of the respective outlet operations in the front and back of house to achieve customer satisfaction and quality service while meeting / exceeding financial goals and your role will include key responsibilities such as:

  • To supervise all bar colleagues, monitor performance, and ensure that colleagues at all times deliver high-quality service to the guest, as well as serving behind the bar as necessary.
  • To be responsible for the ordering and control of all beverage stocks.
  • To work flexible hours to meet the requirements of their service and to cover special functions.
  • To ensure that the bar operations comply with all statutory requirements including Health & Safety, Licensing, and Food & Hygiene regulations.
  • Demonstrate a perfect knowledge of all beverages served in the bar, how beverages are prepared (to recipe) and presented, and how colleagues are trained to possess this knowledge and the application of it.
  • Ensure standards are being followed in accordance with F&B policies and procedures, also on compliance with all Company Health and Safety, and Fire Regulations and procedures.
  • Ensure all employees have full product knowledge, that the Guest service standard are set, implemented and monitored, and continuously evaluated. Ensure all Team Members are impeccably presented and adhere to the correct uniform standards.
  • Motivate, discipline, direct and supervise the work of all colleagues in the outlet.
  • Maximise revenue and increase average spend per person through upselling, high customer service standards, effective training and motivational techniques.
  • Identify training needs and provide direction, lead and drive action plans and initiatives to achieve set objectives and to maintain standard of service and knowledge of colleagues. Plan and conduct On and Off job training on monthly basis with the assigned team in line with the departmental SOP’s.
  • Ensure all Team Members receive annual and mid-year appraisal and any other appropriate performance feedback in a timely manner. Ensure all staff members have a Personal Development Plan
  • Prepare schedules for all personnel according to the forecast and within the limits of the staffing guide, to ensure adequate manpower at all times and under the guidance of the DOFB.
  • Be actively involved in the outlet’s promotional activities and create new promotions in order to attract guests and meet revenue target. Regularly conduct competitor analysis
  • Establish and update the outlet’s database of regular guests with preference records. Meet all needs and requests of guest within specific time frames. Handle complaints and make effective service recovery
  • Tour the outlet and all related areas frequently, ensuring the highest possible cleanliness and maintenance standards
  • Work with Food and Beverage Cost Control to ensure stock takes are carried out in a timely manner and to ensure food and beverage cost control targets are maintained.
  • Ensure that proper inventory, requisition, bar pars, and control systems are in [place to maintain security and cost control of all beverage operations areas.
  • Liaise with stewarding on inventory and breakage control
  • Attend daily briefing or meetings and ensure proper communication down to team to ensure Guest inquiries
  • Maintain a professional and friendly relationship with the outlet patrons

Skills

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You must be holding a minimum of Wine & Spirit Education Trust Level 2 and a college degree graduate with a minimum of two years experiences in a similar role with preferable previous experiences in the Middle East. You should be a computer literate with effective communication skills and an excellent command of written and spoken English.
