Job Summary:
The Night Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of the hotel during the nighttime shift. They ensure a smooth and efficient running of the hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction and employee productivity during the evening and overnight hours.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage all activities during the nighttime shift, including front desk operations, reservations, housekeeping, and security.
- Greet and check-in guests, ensuring a smooth and efficient process for late arrivals and early departures.
- Resolve any guest complaints or issues that may arise during the nighttime shift, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments to ensure a seamless flow of information and operations during the nighttime hours.
- Conduct regular inspection rounds to ensure the safety and security of the hotel premises.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all guest interactions, incidents, and maintenance issues.
- Train and manage the performance of the nighttime staff, ensuring they adhere to all hotel policies and procedures.
- Monitor and manage night audit processes, including balancing and closing the day's transactions.
- Collaborate with the hotel management team to develop implement to improve nighttime operations and enhance guest experience.
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality management role, preferably in a night manager or night supervisor position.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal, and verbal.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, including reservations systems, front desk procedures, housekeeping, and security.
