Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to join our team at Onyx Arjaan by Rotana in Bahrain Bay, Manama. As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating revenue through sales and marketing initiatives, managing key client accounts in the local market as well as GCC clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities by networking, cold calling, and attending industry events.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding them and providing exceptional customer service
- Market and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
- Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives, providing guidance and support to ensure performance targets are met
- and present sales forecasts, reports, and presentations to senior management
- Coordinate with other departments, such as marketing and operations, to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and preferences to anticipate and respond to changes
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the hotel industry, preferably in a luxury hotel setting.
- Strong knowledge of the Bahrain market and an existing network of contacts in the industry
- Excellent communication and negotiation, build rapport with clients and close deals
- Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deadlines
