Telephone Operator

Summary:
As a Telephone Operator, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate personnel, taking and relaying messages, and providing information to callers.

Job Responsibility:
1. Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional and courteous manner.
2. Operate switchboard equipment efficiently.
3. Take and relay messages accurately.
4. Provide information to callers and maintain good customer relations.
5. Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Candidate Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Previous experience as a telephone operator or in a similar role.
3. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
4. Ability to operate switchboard equipment.
5. Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
6. Proficiency in MS Office applications.
7. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
8. Familiarity with emergency procedures and protocols.
