Materials Storekeeper

Summary:
The Materials Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, and issuing materials while maintaining accurate inventory records. The role ensures materials are organized, available when needed, and handled in line with company procedures and safety requirements.

This position based at Riviera Rayhaan by Rotana Doha.

Job Responsibility:
- Receive deliveries, verify quantities and condition against purchase orders and delivery documents, and report discrepancies.
- Label and store materials in designated locations using appropriate handling and safety procedures.
- Issue materials to authorized employees or departments and record all transactions accurately.
- Maintain up-to-date inventory records and support regular stock counts and reconciliations.
- Monitor stock levels, identify shortages or excess inventory, and notify the relevant team.
- Keep the store organized, clean, and secure, including proper handling of hazardous or sensitive materials where applicable.
- Prepare inventory reports and maintain supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and operations teams to support timely material availability.
- Follow company policies and health, safety, and environmental requirements.

Candidate Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in inventory management or supply chain is an advantage.
- Previous experience in a storekeeping, warehouse, or inventory control role is preferred.
- Basic computer skills and experience with inventory software or spreadsheets.
- Good attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Familiarity with stock control procedures, storage practices, and material handling requirements.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move materials safely, where required.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
