Summary:
As a Chef De Partie in our hotel, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, preparing high-quality dishes, and maintaining food safety and hygiene standards. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure a smooth and efficient kitchen operation.
Job Responsibility:
- Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu and recipes provided
- Supervise and mentor junior chefs and kitchen staff in your section
- Ensure that food preparation and presentation meets the restaurant's standards
- Monitor stock levels and place orders for ingredients as needed
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
- Assist in menu planning and development
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to create a positive working environment
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role
- In-depth knowledge of kitchen operations and cooking techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Attention to detail and creativity in food presentation
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plus
