Environmental, Health, and Safety Officer (EHS)

Job Summary:
As an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Officer, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring environmental, health, and safety programs to ensure compliance with regulations and to create a safe and healthy work environment for employees.

Job Responsibility:
- Develop and implement environmental, health, and safety policies and procedures
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and risks
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and implement corrective actions
- Provide training to employees on safety procedures and practices
- Keep up to date with relevant laws and regulations and ensure compliance
- Coordinate with management to drive a culture of safety and environmental awareness

Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in environmental science, occupational health and safety, or a related field
- Certification in EHS management is a plus
- Proven experience in developing and implementing EHS programs
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and other relevant regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities

Skills:
1. In-depth knowledge of environmental regulations and health and safety standards
2. Strong understanding of risk assessment and hazard identification techniques
3. Excellent communication skills to interact with employees at all levels and effectively convey safety procedures
4. Proficiency in conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations
5. Ability to develop and implement safety training programs for employees
6. Strong problem-solving skills to address safety concerns and provide practical solutions
7. Attention to detail to maintain accurate safety records and reports
8. Proficient in emergency response planning and incident investigation
9. Knowledge of industrial hygiene practices and strategies to mitigate workplace hazards
10. Ability to stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in EHS regulations and technology
