Job Description


Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Executive Pastry Chef to oversee our pastry department and lead our team in creating delicious and visually appealing desserts for our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing new recipes, managing inventory, and ensuring the highest quality of our pastries.

Job Responsibility:
- Develop creative and innovative pastry recipes that align with our restaurant's brand and vision
- Lead and manage a team of pastry chefs and bakers, providing guidance and training as needed
- Oversee the production and presentation of all pastries, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency
- Manage inventory and supply orders to ensure efficient operation of the pastry department
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques, incorporating new ideas into our pastry offerings
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the pastry department

Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Pastry Chef or Executive Pastry Chef in a high-volume restaurant or bakery
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team
- Creative mindset with a passion for developing new pastry recipes and desserts
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Certification from a culinary institute or relevant field is a plus
