Summary:
The Reservation Agent is responsible for handling reservation inquiries, bookings, and cancellations for customers. They will provide excellent customer service while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing reservations.
Job Responsibility:
- Respond to reservation inquiries via phone, email, or in person
- Assist customers in making new reservations, modifying existing reservations, and processing cancellations
- Provide customers with information about availability, pricing, and any special promotions
- Maintain accurate records of reservations and follow up with customers as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth coordination of reservations and guest services
- Handle any customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Keep up to date with hotel policies, procedures, and amenities to provide accurate information to customers
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in a customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Familiarity with reservation software and systems is a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
