Summary:
We are seeking an Assistant Director of Housekeeping to oversee the cleanliness and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will assist the Director of Housekeeping in managing a team of housekeeping staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the establishment.
Job Responsibility:
1. Assist the Director of Housekeeping in planning, organizing, and directing housekeeping activities to maintain a clean, orderly, and attractive environment.
2. Supervise housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance.
3. Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with regulations.
4. Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to meet the needs of the establishment.
5. Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and order supplies as needed.
6. Handle guest complaints or special requests related to housekeeping services.
7. Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in housekeeping operations.
Candidate Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
- Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and a focus on customer service.
