Chef De Partie - Hot Kitchen

Summary:
As a Chef De Partie specializing in Hot Kitchen, you will be responsible for overseeing a specific section of the kitchen, such as sauces, pastas, or grilled items. You will work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure high-quality dishes are prepared and presented to customers.

The position is based at The Cove Rotana Resort.

Job Responsibility:
- Prepare and cook dishes in your designated section according to the restaurant's recipes and standards
- Assist in creating menu items and specials for the Hot Kitchen section
- Train and supervise junior chefs and kitchen staff members in your section
- Ensure food safety and sanitation practices are followed at all times
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the Head Chef regarding stock and ordering needs

Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or a similar role in a professional kitchen
- In-depth knowledge of Hot Kitchen techniques and practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plus
