Chef Tournant - Cold Kitchen

Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Chef Tournant specializing in the Cold Kitchen to join our team. The Chef Tournant will oversee cold food preparation, ensure high standards of presentation and taste, and assist in menu planning.

The position is based at The Cove Rotana Resort.Job Responsibility:
1. Coordinate food preparation and ensure timely delivery of cold dishes.
2. Assist in creating and updating cold kitchen menus.
3. Ensure high standards of food presentation and taste.
4. Train and supervise kitchen staff in cold food preparation techniques.
5. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of cold kitchen ingredients.
6. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
7. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Chef Tournant or similar role in a cold kitchen.
2. In-depth knowledge of cold food preparation techniques and presentation.
3. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
4. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
5. Strong attention to detail and creativity in food presentation.
6. Certification from a culinary school or relevant training programs is a plus.
