Commis Bakery

Summary:
As a Commis Bakery, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and production of baked goods in a professional kitchen environment. You will work closely with the pastry chef and other team members to ensure high-quality products are consistently delivered to customers.

This position is based at The Cove Rotana Ras al Khaimah.

Job Responsibility:
1. Assist in the preparation of various baked goods such as bread, pastries, cakes, and other desserts.
2. Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and production requirements.
3. Monitor baking process in ovens and make adjustments as needed.
4. Ensure proper storage and rotation of ingredients and finished products.
5. Keep work area clean and organized to maintain high sanitation standards.
6. Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.
7. Collaborate with team members to uphold quality and consistency in all baked goods.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience working in a professional bakery or pastry kitchen.
2. Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
3. Ability to follow recipes accurately and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality baked goods.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
6. Formal culinary training or certification is a plus.
7. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects as needed.
