Commis II

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Commis II to assist in the preparation of delicious dishes in the kitchen. You will work under the supervision of a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef to ensure that the kitchen operates efficiently.

Job Responsibility:
- Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food
- Assist in cooking and plating dishes according to the Chef's specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation
- Follow food safety standards and procedures
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries
- Help with inventory management and stock rotation

Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Commis or in a similar role
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Team player with good communication skills
- Certificate in Culinary Arts or relevant field is a plus
