Commis II

Summary:
As a Commis II, you will assist in the preparation of menu items in a professional kitchen setting. You will work under the guidance of a chef de partie or sous chef to ensure that dishes are prepared according to the established standards.

Job Responsibility:
1. Assist in the preparation of ingredients for menu items.
2. Follow recipes and cooking techniques as instructed by senior kitchen staff.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
4. Assist in food storage and stock rotation.
5. Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a commis or kitchen assistant.
2. Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food safety standards.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.
