Commis II

Summary:
As a Commis II, you will assist in the preparation of meals according to the standard recipes, while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation.

The position is based at The Cove Rotana.

Job Responsibility:
1. Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
2. Assist in cooking and preparing a variety of dishes.
3. Ensure the kitchen is clean and organized at all times.
4. Follow proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines.
5. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Commis or relevant role.
2. Knowledge of various cooking methods and procedures.
3. Understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
5. Team player with good communication skills.
