Commis III

Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Commis III to assist our kitchen team in preparing delicious meals according to our restaurant's menu. The Commis III will be responsible for ensuring high-quality food and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.

This position is based at The Cove Rotana Ras al Khaimah.

Job Responsibility:
1. Preparing ingredients and assisting with cooking tasks under the supervision of a Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
2. Following recipes and food preparation processes to ensure consistency and quality.
3. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including food storage areas.
4. Assisting with food inventory management and stock rotation.
5. Adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
6. Collaborating with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the kitchen.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Commis III or similar role in a restaurant or hotel kitchen.
2. Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation.
3. Understanding of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
4. Ability to work well in a team environment.
5. Willingness to learn and take direction from senior kitchen staff.
6. Physical endurance to stand for long hours and lift heavy kitchen equipment.
7. Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is a plus.
