The Complex Director of Marketing is a senior strategic leader responsible for shaping, executing, and optimizing the hotel’s integrated marketing ecosystem to drive sustainable revenue growth, brand equity, and market leadership across all profit centres, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, Wellness, Health Club Memberships, Banquets, Events, and Outside Catering for Rotana Capital Centre Complex (Pearl Rotana Hotel, Centro Capital Centre & Capital Centre Arjaan by Rotana).
This role blends classic hospitality brand stewardship with cutting-edge, data-led, and technology-enabled marketing practices, ensuring the hotel remains competitive, relevant, and guest-centric in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. The Director of Marketing will champion innovation, personalization, and experience-driven marketing while safeguarding brand consistency, service excellence, and commercial performance. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, digital innovator, and collaborative leader with a strong commercial mindset, capable of translating insights into measurable results while delivering a seamless, elevated guest journey across all touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Marketing Leadership
- Define, lead, and execute a comprehensive, multi-channel marketing strategy aligned with the hotel’s overall business objectives, revenue strategy, and brand standards.
- Partner closely with Sales and Revenue Management to align marketing initiatives with pricing, distribution, and demand-generation strategies, maximizing ROI, RevPAR, ADR, and total revenue contribution.
- Clearly articulate and refine the hotel’s positioning, messaging, and value proposition for each business vertical: Rooms, F&B, Spa & Wellness, Health Club, Banquets, and Outside Catering.
- Anticipate shifts in consumer behaviour, technology, and distribution channels, proactively adapting marketing strategies to maintain market leadership.
2. Brand, Content & Communication Excellence
- Act as the brand guardian, ensuring consistency, quality, and alignment across all guest-facing and trade-facing touchpoints.
- Oversee the creation and deployment of compelling, premium content across digital, print, PR, events, and social platforms.
- Lead storytelling initiatives that elevate brand perception, communicate purpose, sustainability efforts, and differentiate the hotel experience.
- Manage the development of marketing assets including sales kits, digital signage, in-room collateral, campaign visuals, and CRM communications.
- Design and execute seasonal, experiential, and thematic campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion.
3. Digital, AI & Modern Marketing Innovation
- Own the hotel’s end-to-end digital marketing strategy, including SEO, SEM, paid media, programmatic buying, affiliate marketing, retargeting, influencer marketing, social commerce, booking funnels, abandonment recovery, dynamic offers, and ancillary revenue.
- Oversee website, mobile, and booking engine performance, ensuring best-in-class UX, conversion optimization, content relevance, and seamless integration with CRS and PMS platforms. Continuous A/B testing and CRO across website, landing pages, and booking journeys.
- Lead CRM and lifecycle marketing strategies powered by data, delivering personalized offers and communications across email, messaging platforms, and mobile channels.
- Drive high-impact engagement across key and emerging social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and future channels), with a strong focus on short-form video, UGC, and creator partnerships.
4. Revenue Growth & Demand Generation
- Collaborate with Revenue Management to design and launch targeted promotions, packages, and tactical campaigns that stimulate demand during need periods.
- Develop integrated acquisition strategies for key segments including corporate, leisure, MICE, weddings, local residents, and long-stay guests.
5. Public Relations, Partnerships & Co-Branding
- Build and nurture strong relationships with media, influencers, content creators, travel writers, and industry stakeholders.
- Lead PR strategy, including press releases, media pitches, brand storytelling, and reputation management.
- Develop co-branded campaigns and strategic partnerships with tourism boards, luxury brands, corporate partners, and local businesses.
- Identify sponsorship and collaboration opportunities that reinforce brand values, sustainability, and community engagement.
- Oversight of online reputation management across Google, TripAdvisor, Booking.com, social platforms, and F&B review channels.
6. Budget, Technology & Vendor Management
- Develop and manage the annual marketing budget with full accountability for cost efficiency and ROI.
- Oversee agency and vendor relationships, including creative, media, digital, PR, production, and technology partners.
- Evaluate, implement, and optimize marketing technologies, platforms, and tools that enhance efficiency, insight, and guest engagement.
7. Team Leadership & Organizational Collaboration
- Build, inspire, and lead a high-performing marketing team across digital, content, social media, design, CRM, and analytics
- Establish clear objectives, KPIs, and development plans for team members.
- Foster strong collaboration with Sales, Revenue Management, Operations, Finance, IT, and Guest Experience teams.
- Champion innovation, continuous learning, and best-in-class marketing practices across the organization.

Required Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 5 to 7 years of progressive hospitality marketing experience, with 3–5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth, brand equity, and digital transformation in a multi-department hotel environment.
