Director of Housekeeping

Summary:
As a Director of Housekeeping, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all functions of the housekeeping department to ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Job Responsibility:
- Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and policies to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
- Manage and coordinate housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance.
- Oversee the budget and expenses of the housekeeping department, ensuring cost-effective operations.
- Inspect facilities regularly to ensure cleanliness and compliance with regulations.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet guests' needs and maintain a positive guest experience.
- Handle any guest complaints or issues related to housekeeping in a professional and timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and implement best practices to improve housekeeping operations.

Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Director of Housekeeping or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning techniques, and health and safety standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage a diverse team and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or relevant field is preferred.
