Job Description
We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Maintenance professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.
As a Boiler Operator you are responsible to operate or maintain stationary engines, boilers and other mechanical equipment to provide utilities for buildings and / or industrial processes, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:
•Attend to boilers and equipment to supply and maintain steam or heat for buildings, marine vessels or operation of pneumatic tools
•Record test results on specified form and provide information to Superiors
•Test sample quality by using testing devices to ensure it meets specifications
•Operate, control and observe gauges to regulate heat and steam in order to ensure the machine is functionally properly
•Obtain samples from designated location on boiler and carry samples to testing laboratory
•Recognize, detect or assess problems through monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events or the environment
•Perform preventive maintenance and trouble shoot problems which can be resolved
•Suggest and recommend ideas for the improvement of maintenance and performance of the equipment.
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should ideally be a licensed high / low pressure boiler operator with previous experiences in a similar role and a proven knowledge in the operation of equipments such as steam engines, generators, motors, turbines and / or steam boilers. A good command of English and the ability to find fault and rectify subsystems are essentials.
