Job Description
We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Maintenance professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests.
As an Electrician you are responsible to install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures to ensure that work is in accordance with relevant codes and your role will include key responsibilities such as:
•Executing the preventive maintenance schedule and ensuring all equipments are maintained to the required standard
•Maintaining all tools, equipments and working areas are all in good condition to ensure a safe workplace and to save costs
•Ensure that all emergency calls are promptly and efficiently responded
•Act in accordance with fire, health and safety regulations and follow the correct procedures when the situation arises
•Installs, services and repairs lighting fixtures, electrical panels, outlets and wiring.
•Coordinate with assigned Duty Engineer and/or other colleagues for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently.
•Diagnoses causes of electrical problems or failures for the purpose of identifying equipment and/or systems repair.
•Maintain records of maintenance and repair work
•Test and maintain electric motors, variable frequency drives, alarms, and control systems to ensure proper working condition
•Assist store keeper to maintaining an adequate supply of electrical spare parts.
•Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and colleagues’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
•Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should ideally be a qualified Electrician with a diploma in electro-technical services and a basic high school college qualification. You should have a proven knowledge in the operation and electrical maintenance of the equipment. A good command of English and the ability to find fault and rectify systems are essentials.
