Engineering - Plumber

We are currently seeking for passionate and dynamic Maintenance professionals who pride themselves on their ability to deliver extraordinary levels of customer service and provide creative solutions to our guests. 

As a Plumber you are responsible for all the plumbing systems maintenance as instructed by Supervisor while adhering to Hotel policies and procedures.

 General Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintain and inspects joints, valves, pumps, boilers, heaters, sinks, commodes, tanks, valves, and other plumbing system components to locate malfunctions, and repairs or replaces when necessary
• Performs preventive maintenance in Guest rooms and public areas as required in order to meet the Guest needs
•  Ensure that the plumbing system components are properly monitored in order to avoid malfunctions and repairs or replaces when necessary
• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and colleagues’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
• Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
• Perform general plumbing work including installing storm water, sanitary and water piping systems, assembling and installing pipes, valves, fittings and fixtures, and testing pipe systems and fixtures for leaks
• Estimate hours, materials and special equipment required to perform specific tasks.
• Order materials required to perform specific tasks and schedule work in cooperation with Duty engineer
• maintain water parameters water treatment equipment
• Inspects and tests fire pump system and booster pumps; prepares documentation for compliance.
• Operate in a safe and environmentally friendly way to protect guests’ and colleagues’ health and safety, as well as protect and conserve the environment
• Comply with the hotel environmental, health and safety policies and procedures 

Education, Qualifications & Experiences

You should ideally be having an apprenticeship as a Plumber and previous experiences in the same position. You should be able to work under policies and regulations and must be in good physical condition. A good command of English and the ability to find fault and rectify systems are essentials.
