Executive Chef

Summary:
We are looking for a creative and experienced Executive Chef to oversee our kitchen operations and ensure the delivery of high-quality culinary dishes. The Executive Chef will be responsible for menu planning, food preparation, staff management, and maintaining sanitation standards.

This position is based at The Cove Rotana Resort!

Job Responsibility:
1. Develop menus that align with the restaurant's culinary direction and appeal to customers.
2. Oversee food preparation and cooking activities to ensure high-quality dishes are served.
3. Manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
4. Monitor food and labor costs to meet budgetary goals.
5. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations.
6. Collaborate with the management team to plan for special events or promotions.
7. Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques or ingredients into menu offerings.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar role.
2. Strong leadership and communication skills.
3. In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques and best practices.
4. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
5. Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
6. Certification from a culinary school or relevant training is preferred.
