Rotana is one of the leading hospitality brands in the region, with a growing international presence and a portfolio of world-class hotels and resorts. We are now seeking a Global Director of Communications & PR to join our executive leadership team and shape the global narrative of our brand.
As the Global Director of Communications & PR, you will define and lead Rotana’s global communications strategy, ensuring consistent and impactful messaging across all markets. This pivotal role requires a strategic, results-driven leader with a strong track record in corporate communications, media relations, crisis management, and brand reputation building. You will oversee all external communications, media relations, PR campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a unified global communications and PR strategy aligned with Rotana’s business objectives.
- Oversee all media relations, press releases, corporate statements, and proactive storytelling initiatives.
- Strengthen Rotana’s brand reputation through impactful PR campaigns, thought leadership, and digital communications.
- Lead crisis communication management, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent responses.
- Guide internal communications to align employees, stakeholders, and partners with the brand vision and initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with international media, industry influencers, and strategic partners.
- Champion content creation and messaging that reflects Rotana’s brand ethos across channels.
- Inspire, mentor, and lead a high-performing global communications team while fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and collaboration.
- Monitor and analyze media coverage, PR impact, and communications KPIs to optimize strategy.
Skills
What We’re Looking For
- 8 to 10 + years of senior communications, PR, or corporate affairs leadership experience in hospitality or a related industry.
- At least 5 years leading a communications/PR team at corporate/headquarters or in the global office of a hotel chain.
- Proven expertise in media relations, brand reputation management, and crisis communications.
- Strong strategic thinking and storytelling capabilities with the ability to translate business objectives into impactful messaging.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to influence, inspire, and align cross-functional teams.
- Deep understanding of global hospitality markets and cultural nuances in communications.
- Excellent presentation and thought leadership presence.
