Head Butcher

Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Head Butcher to manage our butchery department and oversee the preparation and cutting of meat products. The Head Butcher will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards, managing inventory, and leading a team of butchers to ensure efficient operations.

The position is based at The Cove Rotana.

Job Responsibility:
1. Oversee the preparation, cutting, and packaging of meat products according to customer specifications.
2. Monitor inventory levels and place orders for meat supplies as needed.
3. Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
4. Train and supervise butchers to enhance their skills and performance.
5. Develop and implement strategies to optimize butchery operations and improve efficiency.
6. Keep up-to-date with market trends and pricing to make informed decisions on purchasing and pricing.
7. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints related to the butchery department.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Butcher, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or management role.
2. In-depth knowledge of different cuts of meat and butchery techniques.
3. Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
4. Excellent leadership and communication skills.
5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
6. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in meat cutting and preparation.
