Kitchen Steward

Job Summary:
The Kitchen Steward is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area and assisting in basic food preparation tasks.

Job Responsibility:
1. Wash dishes, utensils, and other kitchen equipment.
2. Keep work areas clean, sanitized, and organized.
3. Assist in food prep tasks such as peeling, cutting, and portioning ingredients.
4. Empty trash and recycling bins regularly.
5. Follow health and safety regulations at all times.
6. Report any kitchen maintenance issues to the appropriate person.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Kitchen Steward or similar role.
2. Knowledge of proper sanitation and hygiene practices.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Good communication skills.
5. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
6. High school diploma or equivalent.
