We are currently looking for young, dynamic, self motivated Recreation professionals who want to move their careers forward.
As a Water Sports Supervisor you are responsible to supervise the water sport facilities and activities and ensure that all water sport activities are carried out in an efficient and timely manner, whereby your role will include key responsibilities such as:
•Instruction of all water sport activities
•Ensure all equipment are clean and properly maintained and all safety rules are enforced
•Ensure all customers fill out the appropriate wavers
•Actively promote water sport activities in order to increase revenue
•Ensure water sports hut is kept tidy and clean and all equipment are stored neatly
•Ensure all payments are received before guests avail of water sports facilities
•Supervise employees including Boat Driver, Water-Sports Instructor and Beach Attendants
•Ensure all motorized equipment are regularly maintained and kept in good working order
•Daily briefing with Recreation Manager / Assistant Recreation Manager and employees
•Completely understand and enforce water sports rules and regulations
•Check on weather forecast daily before any water sport activities
•Ensure all SOP’s are promptly adhered to and followed by all employees
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should ideally have a diploma / degree in the sport / leisure field with particular focus on water sports and with previous experiences in a similar role. You must also have fluency in both written and spoken English and positively contribute to sales activities thereby maximizing revenue along with the ability to solve problems effectively. Physically fit and able to work long hours in an outside environment are essentials.
