Resort Director of Culinary

Summary:
The Resort Director of Culinary is responsible for overseeing and managing all culinary operations within the resort. This role involves creating menus, developing recipes, training kitchen staff, and ensuring high-quality food production.

This position is based in The Cove Rotana Resort.

Job Responsibility:
1. Develop and innovate menus to meet customer preferences and stay ahead of industry trends.
2. Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
3. Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards in the kitchen.
4. Monitor food costs and work to optimize profitability without compromising quality.
5. Collaborate with vendors to source high-quality ingredients at competitive prices.
6. Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques, incorporating new ideas into menu offerings.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a Head Chef, Executive Chef, or similar role.
2. Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a culinary team.
3. In-depth knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and flavors.
4. Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
5. Creative and innovative mindset to develop exciting and delicious menu offerings.
6. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
