Job Description
We are currently seeking for young, dynamic, self-motivated Sales & Revenue professionals who can assist us to provide support, advice and expertise with the aim of maximizing value and to develop the quality of the sales and revenue requirements for all Rotana hotels and brands.
As a Revenue Analysis Manager you are responsible for assisting the Director of Revenue, based within the Corporate Office, with reports and special revenue projects and your role will include key responsibilities such as:
• Complete and analyze month end reports and put together monthly Revenue Management report for all hotels, analyze past strategies and their effectiveness, make recommendations for optimal mix of business and on future inventory controls to maximize occupancies and increase revenue, compare results to budget, forecast and previous year, and the market in terms of key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Monitor the contribution by channel for each property and set up action plans if targets are not being met
• Work closely with the E-Distribution Manager to ensure all third party channels are optimized and rate parity is maintained across all channels
• Review each hotel’s pricing structure and promotional activities to ensure price positioning of each hotel is maintained, transient and group business is not displaced, monitor the competitive environment including pricing and strategies of the competition, external variables such as city pressure and events
• Assist with periodic visits for each property which will always include active consultative participation in the property’s business review
• Assist in preparation of the annual Sales & Revenue plan
Skills
Education, Qualifications & Experiences
You should ideally have a degree in the hospitality field with previous experience in a similar role for minimum two years within the Reservations / Revenue Department of a hotel. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and strong financial, analytical and auditing skills are essential. Computer literacy and previous experience with Opera is a must.
